Raymond Choi focuses on early stage technology investments in healthcare IT, biotech, insurance, cybersecurity and web3.  Prior to Valley Capital, Raymond led a Kleiner Perkins backed healthcare IT company while angel investing part-time, with investments including Clipboard Health (Unicorn), Simility (Exited to Paypal) and Yubico.

Raymond began his professional career while completing an MD at Stanford.  Following Stanford, Raymond completed his training as a resident physician in Emergency Medicine, while concurrently investing as a venture partner at an early stage venture fund and serving as a key advisor to the CEO of Texas Medical Center launching the TMC accelerator program.  Raymond then worked with Steve O’Hara to launch Valley Capital Partners first fund, where he serves as a General Partner.  Notable past venture investments include Orca Biosystems (Unicorn), Health Sherpa, StellarCyber and Vida Health. Raymond received a masters degree in physiology, anatomy and genetics from Oxford University as a Fulbright scholar, and a medical degree from Stanford.
